About

Hi I’m Allison. Welcome to my crazy family blog! I recently became a stay-at-home-momma after years of working as an office manager, but now it’s time to answer my calling as Mama Fong. In 2015, our little family expanded very quickly from being Mr. and Mrs. WTF to WTF 2.0. It seems like it happened, quite literally, in a blink of an eye. We didn’t know what was going on when the midwife paused to look at another heartbeat during my first ultrasound. For us, it was really like having a second kid after one blink. Twins? What?! They call them “spontaneous twins” when multiples don’t run in the family. I spontaneously burst into tears, Mr. WTF started worrying about college funds, and the doctor looked positively ecstatic.

Four years later, here we are. Reid and Lucas are in preschool and I’m starting this blog about all of our new adventures and experiences. Our family has a lot of changes in store for us and I’m excited to share them with you.

I’m not an “influencer”, I’m a mom who’s trying to find my way just like everyone else. I write to help myself and others and will be the first to admit that I don’t know what the heck I’m doing when it comes to parenting. I read parenting books and blogs for that. My intention with this blog project is to let other parents of multiples, whether they’re the same age or not, know that you have me in your corner. Everyone needs someone. I’m a huge Harry Potter fan so when I think of my support group, I see myself as Harry does looking into the Mirror of Erised from the Sorcerer’s Stone. If you haven’t read the book or seen the movie, Harry sees what his heart most desires: his family.

Welcome to my family and what it’s like to live in it.

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.

We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided.

The people of the world, all of them, whether it is the different race or the different language or the different lifestyle, tend to only think about what we cannot share. But our brains are all the same. We are the same people.
